GENGIER'S SCENT BOOKS
The beauty of scents transcends words, touching emotions and memories in ways no other sense can. Yet, our olfactory sense remains the least appreciated and explored. This is largely due to limited access and exposure, as many scent materials are kept within the perfumer’s secret house.
The Gengier Scent Book series is designed to unlock this world for everyone. Unlike traditional books, these unique creations go beyond simply teaching the names of scents. They invite you to breathe them in, experience them, and connect with their essence—bridging the gap between knowledge and sensory discovery.
POP-UP SECNT BOOK
-
Concept: A pop-up book that teaches basic scents and words for kids to explore the world of scents, and learn to distinguish basic scents in daily life. It adds a tactile and visual element to the scent experience, perfect for engaging kids in scent related activities.
-
Design: Each pop-up represents a different environment (e.g., a forest, a bakery, a flower garden) with corresponding scents embedded in pull-out scent cards.

SCENT DISCOVERY BOOK
-
Concept: A comprehensive book for universal education of scents. It introduces 80 typical natural scents in major olfactory families and offers real sample scents for readers to experience and to train their noses. Our unique encapsulation technology encloses the original scent inside a sticker, bringing the mysterious perfumer's studio to general readers.
-
Design: A beautifully illustrated book with interactive pages, each page dedicated to a different scent.

SCENT LAB BOOK
-
Concept: An introductory book with trainee's kit as the first step into the perfumery education. It intends to turn the traditionally proprietary and expensive perfumery course into a more affordable and practical one. It aims to help serious self-learners to learn major raw materials in perfumery and thus help them lay down a solid foundation as a potential trainee perfumer.
-
Design: Each scent is stored in small, re-closable vials placed within cut-out slots in the pages. Basic tools are provided for readers to mix scents and store their own formulae. Just like a perfumer!
